For many years, Sasha forgot about her red law degree to be a loving wife and housewife. Her meaning of life is Kostya's husband and their dog Gerda. But the imaginary happiness is destroyed one day, when a stranger comes to the apartment and the man puts Sasha on the threshold.

In the cramped Khrushchev mother, where she had to return, there is no place even for a favorite dog. The last straw is an accident, after which Sasha is injured and unjustly accused by the police. Thanks to sincerity and strength of will, the girl finds the thread that brings her to a new life and restores justice: first in her destiny, and then in the destinies of close and dear people, whom she finds again.
