Katya accidentally meets Dmytro, who came to the province from Kyiv. Young people fall in love with each other, Katya is sure that everything is serious between them. But great love turns into humiliation and disappointment – Dmitry betrays Katya. Her heart is broken, the girl is forced to leave her hometown – because of Dmitry she becomes the object of ridicule. Disappointed, Katya travels from her hometown to the capital, and only a chance acquaintance with Grisha, Dmitry's four-year-old son, helps the girl to find herself again and meet true love.
