The story unfolds during World War II.

Seven prisoners manage to escape from the zone and hide in a small village, forgotten by God and people. Barely having breathed a sigh of relief, the heroes face a new test – a German sabotage detachment appears in the vicinity. And by the will of fate, yesterday's enemies of the Motherland turn into its fierce defenders.
