An airplane flying from Moscow to Kiev spits Elijah into a world where he knows no one. Wandering the streets of Kiev, looking into the faces of passers-by, Ilya looks for his brother Peter. Just as Peter had once come to Kiev and disappeared. Elijah must find him and return to Moscow with his wife. Elijah meets the witch Lily. Some force forces him to follow her. Her beauty and cold eyes bring Elijah to her brother. Peter is in love with Lille. Embarrassed, he remembers neither time nor family. Elijah tries to save Peter, to destroy the sorcery, but he finds himself powerless in the face of destiny.
