The action takes place in the picturesque Kiev courtyard. New buildings have already come to the small world of two young but romantic hearts. The janitor protects his yard alone from the noise of teens. And the music teacher opens the windows wide open and plays the piano loudly for everyone to hear their backyard tunes. The symbolism of the relationship and communication between the young janitor and the music teacher is reminiscent of the loss of an era that new technical times are hiding in Kyiv.
