The movie is about a guy with special needs but a very sincere one who falls in love with an actress at a local theater. He thinks he can count on reciprocity. The symbolism of paper birds, which he masters, is understood only by the little daughter of the actress. The inevitable disappointment in its illusions leads the hero to the burning of birds. But maybe that's the price of his recovery?
