Ancient Jew Reuben Koshman came to Kiev for a goodbye to the Dnieper. He tells the passer-by about his fate, about the city of Berdychiv, where he was born and lived most of his life. He then moved with his family to Kiev, and soon the children left for Israel. But Reuben remained, because to him dear places where he was born, he lived a life where the race gave deep strong roots.
