Musician Vasya has never been particularly fortunate. He alone brings up a daughter with whom he lives in the village, and he has no permanent job. Suddenly another sad circumstance intervenes in this sweet life: Vasi's house burns down.
Soon there is a difficult situation: Vasya finds a job and together with the musicians of the local Philharmonic he is going on tour. But there is also a setback – he and his daughter are late for the bus. The musicians will be back in ten days, but where and how do they live all this time? Vasya decides that money can be made by playing the accordion and spending the night at the station. So Vasya and Svetlana become street musicians.
