The price of victory over Nazism in the territory of the former USSR is not liked to speak today. The defeats were masked by "mass heroism", "self-sacrifice" and "patriotism" by ordinary citizens, soldiers and those who had the misfortune to remain in enemy territory occupied by the enemy. Over the course of a peaceful fiftieth, despite the reluctance of many, the price of victory has steadily increased. It was first identified by Stalin - about 7 million dead. Khrushchev said another figure - about 20 million. Brezhnev - more than 20 million. Gorbachev called the number 27-28 million. A kind of "accounting of war", when millions of human souls carelessly move on the backbones of history. One way or the other…

Survivors never had the right to a word that did not fit into the official version of the war. They were forced to hide deeply in the soul the memories of the war. Not the same as described in history textbooks, WWII and sailors, ostarbeiters, guerrillas, guerrillas, UPA soldiers, and tens of millions of people killed in the midst of the enemy were seen.

After 60 years, the "little man" remembers his life in the war.
