When Rina learns that her husband, Timofey, has been involved in a car accident, she is desperate, not only because her husband's life is in serious danger, but also because she learns that there was a passenger in the car with Timofey – a young woman called Yelena. Rina soon learns the shocking truth that Timofey has been cheating on her, and her shock turns to outrage when she discovers that they have a 7 year-old son. Rina’s problems are only beginning, however - Timofey survives the accident, but his injuries will confine him to a wheelchair for the rest of his life, while Yelena dies in the hospital.
