Professor Jan Drummond, whose research was interested in Russian and American intelligence, was killed in a luxury mansion by the sea. The investigation, led by Scotland Yard inspector Ben Parker, revealed that the murder was committed by a scalpel belonging to neurosurgeon Lucia Sparrow. Suspicion falls on her husband, Harold, and then on everyone who was in the Sunshine Menor estate that day.
