In the last third of the XVIII century. hetman made an alliance with the Turks, intending to capture the Commonwealth with their help. In gratitude to the Turks, the Hetman's people chased entire villages of their own tribesmen and sold them for slavery to Kafa. At the same time, the Sich leader, having learned this, ordered to find and punish the traitors of his people. Smoking Cossacks caught up with three hundred slave traders near one farm, where they were cut into pieces, stripped of body crosses and thrown into the river so that the Ukrainian land would not accept traitors.
