At the heart of the story is the story of Paul, the son of a famous businessman. He is all right, a beautiful wife who will soon give him a baby. However, during childbirth, the wife and infant die.
From despair, Paul gets drunk and drives a car around the night city. He does not cope with the management and beats the man. Summoning an ambulance, Paul hides from the scene of an accident. But after sobering up and realizing his guilt, Paul goes to the family of the injured man. The victim's daughter Katya refuses help. But Paul still tries to help and transfers the money to Catherine's father. And after a while, Paul realizes, of course, that Katya is not indifferent to him.
