Freshmen Julia and Angela are abducted from a train on a port city to go on a sea cruise. The kidnapper demands from Angela's father, Oleg, a ransom. The case involves Julia's father, Gleb, a former military man. Oleg's wife, Cyrus, recognizes her fiance in Gleb, whom she didn't wait for in the army 20 years ago.
Angela and Julia's parents rescue the girls. And Kira confesses to Gleb that she has loved him for 20 years and marries Oleg out of gratitude as he rescues her father from death. But now Gleb, as his savior, falls in love with Cyrus' daughter, Angela. Kira wants to go from husband to Gleb, but he is ready to go for anything to keep her.
