Max Sheffard is 32 years old, working as a psychotherapist in a private sensory therapy clinic that combines traditional and non-traditional treatments. Max is an unusual therapist because he himself has Asperger's Syndrome.
The actual idea of sending him to the faculty of psychology belongs to his stepfather, Jan, the clinic's chief physician. Ian considers the syndrome a disease and, according to his theory, such an education should help Max better adapt to social standards and disregard the overly tolerant part of humanity.
Max turns out to be a really talented psychotherapist and helps really sick people. But most of the patients in the clinic, according to Max, are simulants who come to have fun.
My stepfather, Yang, had taught Max to mimicry for ordinary people for years. Suddenly, he dies of a heart attack and now our hero loses his mentor, and step by step begins to do all that he was forbidden.
Alcohol, drugs, disorderly sex, sex with patients, alcohol in the workplace. It would seem that this behavior will not do any good, but after a few months, all that has been taboo status before, Max becomes himself.
