From September 17 to 19, 2021, guests of the ZIFF-2021 film festival will be able to attend screenings of short films of Ukrainian and international program, as well as watch films of out-of-competition programs created in Ukraine in 2019-2021, attend master classes by Ukrainian cinematographers and chat with filmmakers. .
ZIFF - Zaporizhzhya International Film Festival began its history in 2017 as a review of the most interesting achievements of Ukrainian and world short films. The ZIFF concept is based on the principle of openness, wide dialogue and access to new Ukrainian and world short films. In 2021, ZIFF received 3,051 applications from 116 countries.
The jury of the film festival will determine the winners in 7 nominations:
- The best Ukrainian animated film
- The best international animated film
- The best Ukrainian documentary
- The best international documentary
- The best Ukrainian feature film
- The best international feature film
- The best video of the VERTICAL contest.
Also, during the 3 days of the event, the audience will be able to express their thoughts, views and preferences and choose the winner in the nomination "Audience Choice Award" of the V Zaporizhia Film Festival ZIFF, which will be supported by the State Cinema.
