"Crown of the Carpathians" - the largest film event in Western Ukraine, which takes place annually in the resort town of Truskavets. The festival program includes a full-length and short national competition, an out-of-competition program of special screenings and creative meetings with filmmakers. Some events and film screenings take place in Drohobych, Boryslav, Skhidnytsia, Stryi, Morshyn and Lviv.
The opening film of the 9th Truskavets International Film Festival "Crown of the Carpathians", which will take place this year from 12 to 15 November, will be "Blue Earth, like an orange" - the feature debut of director and writer Irina Tsilyk.
The film festival will be supported by the State Agency of Ukraine for Cinema, the Department of Culture of the Lviv Regional State Administration and the Truskavets City Council.
