On November 16 at 4:00 pm we invite you to meet with the authors of the film concert "Divisional Live". Director Vadim Ilkov and producer Darya Bassel will talk about the features of filming a concert, technical and creative tasks, and the challenges of multi-camera shooting. The presentation will show scenes of the upcoming movie, which will premiere in Ukrainian cinemas on December 11.
Film Concert "Divisional Live" - adaptation of the performance of "divisions", the cult multidisciplinary project of the ArtPole Art Agency with the participation of Sergiy Zhadan (text / voice), Oli Mikhailuk (idea / visualizations), Alexei Vorsode (music / acoustics) (experimental instruments and saxophone) and Sergiy Pilyavets (VJ).
Sections explore poetry through music and visuals, paying attention to rhythms and intonations. It is a sensual work about love, tenderness, death, patience for those around you, about silence. The project was first presented in December 2012 in Ivano-Frankivsk and Kiev on the basis of Sergiy Zhadan's book "Firearms and Knives". Since then, sections have traveled all over Ukraine, from Ternopil to Bakhmut.
The director of the film Vadim Ilkov has gathered 11 best operators of Ukraine to work on the tape. 11 cameras simultaneously monitored the latest performance of the "divisions" without missing a single movement of artists. As a result, the film itself became an exploration of the creative process, revealing to the viewers unexpected and exciting moments of art making, opportunities to be together, to hear and feel each other.
