Biography

Oleg Borshchevskyi was born in Yakutia in 1974. Аt the age of 4 he moved with his parents to city of Zaporizhzhya. At the Zaporizhzhya National Technical University he got a programmer’s education.  Oleg Borshchevskyi became a director by vocation and developed his skills by self-education and practice. He worked as a director in the advertising agency at Zaporizhzhya in 2004. Oleg moved to Kiev in 2005, where he continued his director career. In 2010, at his own expense, he shot the short film called “The Hand,” which was later included in the anthology film “Lovers in Kiev”. Oleg works as an author and director of music videos for many Ukrainian musicians. In 2017 he directed the film named  “DZIDZIO Contrabas”, which collected record box office in Ukraine. It was a first time when the Ukrainian film paid for itself in the Ukrainian box office. Oleg Borshchevskyi is fond of photography. He held three personal photo exhibitions.
