The second half of the 1980s. Zhenya graduates from music school, the girl has a beautiful voice. At the birthday of her friend, she meets Fyodor, a graduate geologist. But Fedor is sent to BAM for distribution. Zhenya looks forward to receiving letters from him. She is in love.
The address for the hostel was a letter to Jenny when she had left school and left the hostel. The commandant sends the envelope back with the label Out of office.
